MDM PR Photo | Hennessey, OK – David Dollar
is a successful businessman in a wide variety of
endeavors. As owner/operator of Dollar Farms, LLC,
Dollar has built an industry leader in large-scale
custom farming in the Midwest. The organization offers
numerous farming services and utilizes state-of-the-art
equipment and advanced technology to increase
operational efficiency and production per acre. Dollar
Farms works hand-in-hand with land owners in crop
selection to maximize output and profit while, at the
same time, studying future trends to stay on the cutting
edge of the socio-economic demands facing American
farmers in both the immediate future and decades to
come.
Dollar also fields one of the most successful teams in
the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. From humble
beginnings in as a part-time team based in Hennessey, OK
racing on local tracks in the area, Dollar’s team now
stands as a powerhouse organization competing on one of
NASCAR’s Big-Three Series. David’s race team landed the
first ever factory sponsorship from Chevrolet Silverado
in 2004. Since then, the flagship factory-supported team
has garnered three consecutive second-place championship
point standing finishes with 12 victories, 50 top-five
and 83 top-10 finishes in 171 starts in seven years of
full-time competition.
2006 stands as a landmark year for Dollar’s enterprises
with the public’s acute awareness of the necessity to
decrease dependence on foreign oil. Dollar Farms is
ahead of the curve in farm production management to
increase the harvest of crops suitable to conversion to
E85 Ethanol FlexFuel. The movement to increase
production of ethanol convertible crops puts Dollar
Farms solidly in position to assist in boosting the
income levels and thus the economic climate of the
American farmer while assisting in the growth of
alternative fuel options, which allows us to continue
our love affair with the automobile.

MDM PR Photo | Concurrently Chevrolet is maximizing its factory-support
status of Dollar’s NASCAR team by using the high
visibility of the team and the series to carry the E85
FlexFuel message to millions of racing fans across the
country. The No. 85 driven by perennial championship
contender Dennis Setzer is carrying a paint scheme to
bring further awareness to consumers on their options to
purchase E85 FlexFuel capable vehicles. The Corn
Cob-themed truck also carries messaging such as Corn
Fed, FlexFuel, E85 and the corporate web site
destination on E85, livegreengoyellow.com. General
Motors currently has 1.5 million FlexFuel capable
vehicles on the road with another 400,000 planned for
production in 2006.
The E85 FlexFuel Silverado team will visit 22 race
tracks in 19 states during the 2006, 25-race NCTS
season. Many of the tracks contested by the series are
located in the heartland of American agriculture. Race
fans can get a first hand education on how their support
of ethanol based fuel and driving E85 capable vehicles
can directly benefit their local economies and provide a
bright future for their families as well as the country
as a whole.
As a standout in custom farming and management as well
as a winning team owner in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series
competition, Dollar is a forward thinker with his hand
on the pulse of the nation. By maximizing the synergies
that exist between his keen interest in the farming
industry with his passion to compete in a major national
racing series, Dollar is the leader in racing to a
cleaner, safer environment.
